Family Engagement is a key part of the experience at Coliseum College Prep Academy.

Parents have been an influence at the school since CCPA was in the design process, and we welcome parents as volunteers and collaborators in our work together. Click here to see some pictures of parents in action at CCPA

The goal of the Family Resource Center (FRC) is to help parents and students navigate the system and reach the goal of higher education.  We provide a variety of services to families including Parenting workshops, OTX classes ( free computer resource),  intervention or assisting with parent/teacher communication, access or referrals to social service agencies, translation services and a host of other things.  We also provide college going workshops so that parents get the information they need to help their child make the transition to college or university easier.  If you need help in any way, please come by and talk to either Deanita Lewis (510) 228-5282, Maria Robles (510) 213-5648, or Edith Torres (510) 688-4319.

There are English classes in the FRC from 8:30 am to 11:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday-all parents are welcome.
